It’s all about community
Current Jams
These independently-organized improv jams are a chance to play in a safe environment. Interested in leading an affinity group jam? Let us know!
Average Joes Jam
This is a FREE jam for improvisers with disabilities at HUGE Theater! Open to any improviser (aspiring, new, seasoned, or returning) who has a disability and is 13 years or older. All participants ages 13-17 must have a guardian present, or complete the digital waiver. The first Sunday of every month from 4-6pm.
Musical Improv Jam
No musical experience needed, some long-form improv experienced recommended. This free event is all about reducing the barrier to bringing music into improv theater through practice and learning in a fun and low-pressure environment. Goals of the space are to experience joy through musical improv, and make everyone feel as comfortable and supported as possible. We will do introductions, boundaries, and warmups as a big group, do a bit of very basic musical theory learning and applying that learning (no musical experience needed for this), and then split into smaller groups to do musical long form sets on the HUGE stage.
Queer Jam
If you’re a queer improviser looking for a low-pressure space to meet and play with other queer improvisers, this jam is for you. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or brand new to improv, you’re welcome to join us on the second Sunday of each month from 4-6pm.
BIPOC Jam
The jam is all ages, free of charge, and there is absolutely no experience required. This is a closed event for BIPOC only. It's meant to be relaxed, playful, fun, and easy. Final Sunday of every month at HUGE - 4-6pm - always free!
40+ Jam
Welcome back to the 40+ Improv Jam. If you are over 40 this is a safe place to play. Please join us! This is a free event. The third Sunday of every month from 4pm to 6pm.
Dino Jam
Dino Jam is a fun opportunity to improvise at HUGE Theater - last Saturday of every month! Arrive at 4pm, perform at 5pm. All improvisers age 18+ are eligible to participate. Pay What You Like to watch
Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
