HUGE update, June 9, 2020

First and above all else, this has been an historic couple weeks of long-overdue reckoning on police brutality and racism in the wake of George Floyd’s murder, on top of a lousy couple months of COVID isolation. We hope that you and yours are as healthy and safe and engaged as you can be.

We recognize this likely is the last thing on everyone’s mind as we fight for social justice and survive a pandemic. But for anyone who might be wondering whether HUGE will start to reopen, per the Governor’s latest announcement that indoor entertainment venues can reopen at 25% capacity, the short answer is: not yet. We are also looking forward to that happening, promise. We miss it dearly. But a big part of safely reopening right now is making sure social distancing of 6 feet can be maintained, and we don’t feel we can assure that. We’re a cozy space. So we wait.

Thanks for bearing with us, as we eagerly await the right time to open our doors. In the meantime, we’ve got some exciting things cooking for the Twin Cities Improv Festival AND Black and Funny Improv Festival, so keep an eye on this space.

Love,
HUGE
