An Update on COVID-19 from HUGE

Governor Tim Walz has announced updated recommendations regarding COVID-19 for Minnesota. Among these recommendations is that gatherings of any size should be canceled, if 6 feet of social distancing cannot be provided.  Unfortunately, HUGE performances and classes cannot assure this level of social distancing. As a result, HUGE is suspending all activities at this time.

All performances through the end of March are canceled immediately and will not be rescheduled. Further cancellations are likely, but we are going to take it on a week-by-week basis for now. Pre-purchased tickets will be refunded, and no further tickets will be pre-sold to any March performances, unless/until COVID recommendations are ended. This kind of closure will be devastating financially for a small arts organization like HUGE. If any patrons are inclined to donate the price of their ticket (or more!), those donations would be gratefully received at givehuge.com.

We are exploring our options and attempting to innovate with regards to virtual or video-streamed performances. We will make further announcements if this proves to be possible.

The final week(s) of our Winter classes are also canceled. Affected students have be contacted.

We know that this is a difficult time for our entire community.  Please take the best possible care of yourselves and each other. And we look forward to seeing you on the other side.
